These vibrant and lively photographs capture this year’s Artscape. Billed as “America’s largest free arts festival,” Artscape 2024 was held Aug. 2-4 in the Mount Royal and Bolton Hill neighborhoods and the Station North Arts and Entertainment District.

The festival was a beautiful display of the Baltimore arts community’s best and brightest. Shows, booths, concerts, and more allowed Baltimore’s inner beauty to shine through. It showed how cultured, talented, and spirited this city can be.

Weekend rainstorms canceled performances by headliners Chaka Khan and Sheila E. (Khan told Mayor Brandon Scott that she hopes to come back soon). However, the Original Wailers were able to take the stage for a closing performance on Sunday.
